As a Jew and grandson of immigrants looking to start a better life after the devastation of world war 2 on our community, my practice explores the dichotomy between otherness and assimilation, Jewishness and the oft contradictory aspects of American life. With stark, isolated figures and bright, fiery backgrounds, my art asks the question “who is accepted in America?”.
